John and I have been playing Medal of Honor Heroes 2 a lot the past couple of days. The controls are a big improvement from the last one and it’s awesome that it’s now online. Something that’s been really bugging me though is the multiplayer mode. The last MOH had a multiplayer (not online, with 4 Wii Remotes). That was awesome because we could play with our friends here or against each other. Now, (even though it lists 4 players on the back of the game), you can only play multiplayer online and only one player per Wii - no split screen. John and I have to take turns! This really sux! WARNING: If you have a close friend or significant other and you only have one Wii, you will not be able to play together in multiplayer mode! I wish someone would’ve told us this before but most reviews online say nothing about it. Do they think the only people playing FPS’s are lonely people? We were so excited to play online before we found out it was limited to one person. Now, like I said earlier, we have to take turns…

After days and days of searching high and low in local stores and online stores, I was able to finally grab an extra 3 Nunchuk Controllers to complete our set of controllers. The last place I would think I’d be able to purchase one was at the Nintendo Online Store. I actually found 3 there. I was a little disappointed though. I ordered it, with Next Day shipping,about 1 week before Thanksgiving to have our friends be able to play multiplayer games with both controllers, such as Wii Sports Boxing or Red Steel, but I just received it today. Long story short, Nintendo allowed people to order on their website although it was backordered. I gave them a piece of my mind and voila, I get the controllers a few days later. (more…)

We haven’t posted recently because we’ve been busy playing the Wii!!!  So this is the first time we’ve ever camped out for a game system and it actually wasn’t too bad.  That’s probably because we weren’t outside in the cold but rather in the lawn and garden section of Walmart.  We didn’t camp out for days or anything - it was just about 11 hours.  The Wii is soooo sweet!  We stayed up almost all night after getting home just past 1 (we made a stop at a friend’s house before going home).  It was sooo worth it and I’d do it again for the next Nintendo console.  I love the Wii, I love the Wii, I looooove the Wii!!! 

That day is approaching soon. On Sunday, November 19, the Nintendo Wii will be released here in the United States. (more…)

The Nintendo Wii is the newest system coming out alongside with the PS3. Though the PS3 is more highly anticipated by most – not for me – I want the Wii! The Wii is so innovative with the coolest controllers where you can play by motion. The Wii pre-orders have all been sold out at GameStop, Toys R’ Us, Walmart, etc.! We have to get that Wii when it comes out. You’ll be seeing us in line at Walmart at 5pm the day before it’s released that’s for sure!
